Building Permit Data
Building permit data is an effective tool for analyzing growth within a community. As the following tables show, new permits in town have decreased significantly. There are two explanations for this trend. First, a significant portion of the town is already built out. Second, many developers have put their projects on hold due to the current economic conditions.
There are two projects in Fountain Hills that are in the early planning stages; Adero Canyon and Fountain Hills State Land Department (see the Developments page for more information). Both projects, once completed will bring in new residents and provide prospective business with significant opportunities.
