Don Clark

Don Clark was promoted to the position of Supervisor of Parks in June 2000. Responsible for the entire park system, Clark supervises all operations and maintenance of Fountain Park, Golden Eagle Park, Four Peaks Neighborhood Park and Desert Vista Neighborhood Park.

Hired as the Parks and Recreation Department’s first Parks Operation Worker in November of 1995, Clark was responsible for all maintenance at the newly constructed Golden Eagle Park including irrigation repairs, field prep for scheduled activities and oversight of all construction projects within the park. Clark's extensive contributions to the park’s maintenance, operations and development were recognized in 1999 when Golden Eagle Park received the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association award for "Outstanding Facility" for a community with less than 60,000 residents.

Clark is a member of the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association, the National Parks and Recreation Association, the Arizona Certified Landscape Professional and is an Arizona State certified pest control applicator. With extensive experience as a maintenance foreman for landscape contractors, Clark’s professional expertise and leadership abilities have provided the community with a quality parks system. An Arizona native, Clark was born at Luke Air Force Base in May of 1956. He earned a B.S. in Telecommunications from Northern Arizona University in 1980.
