Fountain Park

Fountain Park is located on Saguaro Blvd. between El Lago and Palisades Blvds.
Park Description
Fountain Park is a 64-acre passive recreation area and anchor to the town center. Built in 1970, the park includes:
- 35-acres of turf
- 29-acre 100 million gallon effluent lake
- The world famous fountain
- A dam
- Pump station
- An 18-hole championship disc golf course
- Children's playground
- Restrooms
- Chilled drinking fountain
- Various picnic tables and benches
- Two parking lots
The Town acquired the park May 1, 1997, from MCO Properties, Inc. Approximately nine months later the Parks and Recreation Commission developed a new Park Master Plan.
The plan includes:
- 7,200 linear feet of walkways complete with lighting
- Five picnic Ramadas complete with tables and barbecues
- Two restroom/control buildings
- Two parking lots
- Children's playground and tot lot with water feature and shade structure
- 18 hole disc golf course
- Outdoor amphiteater
- Interpretive signage
Fountain Hours of Operation
Seven days a week, on the hour hour for 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Rules and Regulations
In addition to the standard park rules, there is no swimming, fishing or boating in Fountain Park Lake.
