Fire Department Explorers

Exploring is designed for anyone 15 to 20 years of age. Sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America it provides the opportunity for explorers to build desirable character attributes experience the responsibilities of active citizenship and develop mental sharpness and physical fitness. The goal is to provide the opportunity to combine the Explorer's experiences with Fire Department influence.

It is the mission of Fountain Hills Fire Explorer Post 892 to provide youth with an insight to the Fire and Emergency Medical field, to take an active role in the community and to create a better understanding between the Fire Department and the youth of the town. We are committed to developing max potential and providing a high quality educational system in a safe, motivating environment with hopes of helping them achieve their desire to enter into a career of Fire and Rescue. 

The Fountain Hills Fire Explorer Post 892 currently meets at Station 1 (16426 E Palisades Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268) every Saturday at 9 AM for three to four hours. Starting January 2009 Post 892 will be meeting at Station 2 (16821 E Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268) every other Saturday starting January 3, 2009 at 9 AM.
