Deputy Town Manager / Finance Director: Julie Ghetti
Julie Ghetti, Deputy Town Manager/Finance Director, began her governmental finance career in the Town as an accountant at the time of incorporation in 1990.
Prior to working for the Town of Fountain Hills, Ms. Ghetti worked for International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in Detroit, Michigan and for a local construction contractor.
Under her direction, the Finance Department is responsible for Town financial activities, including accounting, payroll and accounts payable processing, budget development, coordination and analysis, financial statement preparation, audit coordination, debt management, managerial reporting and procurement.
Ghetti attended Western International University, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting. She also attended Arizona State University School of Public Affairs where she graduated with a Masters in Public Administration.
She is a certified public accountant (CPA), a Certified Government Finance Manager (CGFM) and currently serves on the education committee of the Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona.
