The Town of Fountain Hills is proud to continue with the service of providing its residents with safe and free electronics recycling events. The Town is pleased to continue its partnership with Westech Recyclers as our provider for the electronic recycling events.
What can be recycled?
We recycle a wide range of e-waste such as, computers, computer monitors, copiers, faxes, telecommunication equipment, medical equipment (no bio-waste), household batteries, video recorders, cameras, cable TV boxes and a variety of other electronic equipment.

- Other household hazardous waste
Household appliances can be brought to the Goodwill collection site on Palisades Boulevard. Local Scout Troop 444 also does recycling of old non-working appliacnes and other metals as a fund raiser. To schedule a pickup of items by the Troop, contact Paul Perreault at 480-206-7477.

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Offers Free Electronic Waste Recycling
Location: 13602 N. Beeline Highway (Gilbert Rd. & the Beeline Hwy) Scottsdale, Az 85256 - (480) 941-3427 Open Monday thru Saturday 6 am to 5 pm
The Salt River Landfill has added an E-Waste recycling program to its operation. A drop-off location for electronics is located in the convenience area. There is no charge if a customer brings in ONLY electronics. However, if they have a mixed load, tipping fees will be at the gate rate of $37 per ton. The program includes the following:
Computer Equipment - PC's, Laptops, CRT Monitors, Flat Panel Monitors, Modems, Switches, Hubs and Routers, Storage Devices, Main Frames, Servers, Power Supplies, Tape Libraries, Circuit Boards, Power Cords, Printers, Wire and Cabling, Surplus Metals, Mice, Keyboards, Hard Drives, Floppy, DVD and CD Drives, etc.
Telecom Equipment - Telephones, Cell Phones, Switches, Phone Systems, CSU/DSU Multiplexing Equipment, Answering Systems, etc.
Printing Equipment - Fax Machines and Copiers, Calculators, Typewriters, Printers
Audio/Visual Equipment - Stereos, Radios, Televisions, Amplifiers, Projectors, Satellite and Cable Equipment, Video Equipment, Video Game Equipment, etc.
Batteries - Alkaline, Nickel Cadmium, Lead Acid, Lithium, etc.
Electronic Components - Capacitors, Diodes, Resistors, Transistors and Integrated Circuits, etc.
