Location

Fountain Hills shares its western border with Scottsdale, Arizona and neighbors the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.  Fountain Hills is situated on the eastern slope of the McDowell Mountains about 500 feet in elevation above Phoenix. This majestic range naturally separates the community from Scottsdale and the rest of metro Phoenix. And though it seems like another world, it is just a short 25 minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
