Director of Community and Events Center:
Samantha J. Coffman

Samantha J. Coffman is responsible for all aspects of running the Community Center and Senior Services divisions including managing staff, overall fiscal responsibility concerning the department budget and the oversight of expenditures, marketing strategies, event planning, vendor contracts and working with two Council appointed Advisory Commissions.

Coffman has been employed with the Town of Fountain Hills since the Center opened in September 2001. She was promoted in 2003 from the Events & Marketing Coordinator to Supervisor and promoted again from Supervisor to the Department Director in 2007.

Prior to joining the Community and Events Center, Coffman was an event producer for a local catering company and spent several years as a corporate training manager for a major restaurant chain. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University.

Coffman is involved in the following organizations: the Phoenix and Tempe Convention & Visitors Bureaus, National Association of Catering Executives, The Wedding & Event Network, and Meeting Professionals International where she served as co-chair of the membership committee and is listed in the “Who’s Who of Professional Management.”

Administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Community Center is open evenings and weekends according to the event schedule, please call for more details.
