Honorable Ted Armbruster

Ted
Armbruster and his wife Alice moved to Fountain Hills in
1998 from Washington State. Born and raised in Nebraska,
Judge Armbruster graduated from the University of Nebraska
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration. In 1975, he moved to Spokane, Washington,
and subsequently graduated from Gonzaga University School of
Law. He worked as a trial attorney for six years. Appointed
as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Washington
in 1985, Judge Armbruster served in that position for over
fifteen years. His Arizona legal experience includes work
with the General Counsel for the Arizona Corporation
Commission Securities Division.
Judge Armbruster has served as the Fountain Hills Municipal
Court Presiding Judge since 2002. He is active in the
Arizona Judicial System, serving by appointment to various
Arizona Supreme Court Committees. He has also been selected
to serve as a trainer for judicial education programs.
Locally, he continues to be an active volunteer for youth
programs and senior services.
Judge Armbruster is committed to enhancing the Fountain
Hills Municipal Court’s reputation as a model court. He
strives, with a first-rate court staff, to provide public
service that is professional, fair, efficient, and
respectful to all participants.
