July 27, 2016 – Following air quality tests conducted at Fountain Park over a twenty-four hour period, the Maricopa County Air Quality Department has determined that there was no evidence of Hydrogen Sulfide in the air at Fountain Park. The air quality monitoring station consisted of a mobile trailer parked at the southeast parking lot on Panorama from Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning. The testing was in response to a citizen complaint about Fountain Lake odor received by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) earlier in July.
