Dog Park Closure

Dog Park at Desert Vista Park - 11800 N. Desert Vista, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268

On the evening of Thursday, June 16 the Town Council approved a proposal to fund the removal of existing turf in both the large and small dog areas and to replace it with new sod. In addition, there are several areas where the gravel has become thin and additional rock will be brought in to cover those areas. The work will begin on Friday morning June 17 and is expected to take through mid-August to replace the turf and have it take root.

During the closure of the dog park people can still use the other parks in the community but are reminded to keep their dogs on a leash. Failure to keeps dogs on a leash while using other parks is a violation of the Town Code.

Should you have any questions regarding the project, please call the Town’s Community Services Department at (480) 816-5100.
