Fountain Hills Assistant Fire Chief Dave Ott Promoted to Fire Chief

Fountain Hills Rural/Metro Assistant Fire Chief Dave Ott has been named as the new Fire Chief for Fountain Hills, replacing Chief Randy Roberts who is officially retiring June 10, 2016, after 38 years in the fire service.

Chief Ott has served as the Assistant Chief in Fountain Hills for three years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his 24 years in the fire service. Chief Ott was selected from a pool of candidates from across the nation. Chief Ott will continue to place a strong emphasis on providing the highest level of customer service, and he is anxious to move forward with dynamic challenges with changes to the fire and EMS services in the future. He also has been a Fountain Hills resident for 16 years.

Chief Ott will be formally introduced as the new Fire Chief at the Town Council meeting on May 19, 2016. Retiring Chief Roberts will be recognized for his contributions to the Town of Fountain Hills at the Town Council meeting on June 2, 2016. He plans to remain in Fountain Hills and stay active in the community.
