Make a Difference Day-Saturday, October 26th

Hello volunteers!

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Make a Difference Day event. This program is a signature event for the Town of Fountain Hills and is a wonderful way to give back to our great community.

The official kick-off for Make a Difference Day is Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 7:30 am with an opening speech from Mayor Ginny Dickey at Golden Eagle Park in the Saguaro Ramada.
Registration is expired, however, we would like to thank all of the local service, civic, and religious organizations who reached out to make this day possible through the transition.  Volunteers are what makes this day possible.

Unfortunately, this year’s event has encountered a few hurdles and is undergoing significant transition due to the retirement of Heather Ware, our Volunteer Coordinator. As a result, the 2019 event will not be accepting individual volunteers. We encourage any residents interested in helping with a Make a Difference Day project to contact their local service, civic, or religious organization as many of these local groups will be heading up this year’s efforts. We truly value the time and talents of all of our volunteers and look forward to resuming the full Make a Difference Day program in 2020.
